Not Your Average Nottingham City Wedding

I thought I’d take some time out from reading/hearing about the dreaded C word and blog something to brighten up peoples evenings.

I first met Jae & Chris in December, when we met up for their engagement shoot in Nottingham City Centre. I knew their wedding was going to be awesome. After spending a couple of hours with them, chatting and taking pictures, and came away buzzing about being apart of their day.

Fast forward a couple of months and we were back in the city for the day itself. Their colourful nuptials took place at Nottingham Council House on one of the windiest days in forever! But that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Everyone was ready to see this gorgeous couple tie the knot, and they did it in style.

When I say style I mean it. The groom wore the coolest suit I’ve seen, and the bride wore the most beautiful dress with a gorgeous jacket that had Stevie Wonder lyrics hand-painted on the back. And don’t even get me started on the stunning flowers!

The ceremony itself included one of the best readings I’ve ever heard, which was written by the bride for the groom as a gift a few years prior. It was unique, funny and so perfect for their ceremony. Jae is one talented lady!

The couple ended the day with smoke bombs and one hell of a party with their friends and family. You can see just a little snippet of their gallery below, and keep scrolling for all the awesome suppliers involved in the day.
