Planning a geeky wedding – Your guide to getting started

by May 6, 2019Wedding0 comments

Planning a geeky wedding means putting all your quirky loves into your wedding day, and in my opinion, it’s the only way to go. I believe the more personality you put into it the better it is because let’s face it your loves and kookiness are what make you bloody epic.

Now, where do you blooming start? Well firstly decide what you want to incorporate and then head down the rabbit hole that is Pinterest. There’s nothing that platform doesn’t have and I’m sure you’ll come out more inspired. Doing this doesn’t have to mean tacky or shit if that’s what you’re thinking this can be everything you want and so much more. There are so many amazing businesses out there that can make all your dreams into reality and so many DIY possibilities. You can visit my Pinterest board for some ideas to get you started (I had far to much fun pinning for this!) and also check out the suppliers that kindly let me use their images below.

Star Wars Leather Jacket & Shoes

Superhero Invites

Game Of Thrones Table Plan

As you can see the possibilities really are endless, I’d fully recommend heading down to the Unconventional Wedding Festival next weekend at Stanford Hall in Lutterworth if you can because it’s designed for people who want something different. There’s going to be zones covering all kinds from Fairytale (Where I’ll be based.) to Urban, Festival and Scfi. You’re bound to come away with tonnes of ideas and maybe even so freebies. wink You can still grab tickets to the event by visiting their website.

If you are planning a unique wedding you should check out my Bucket List because I’m offering anyone that can tick something off of it some money off their wedding package! Win-win don’t you think?
